Our Story

As the solar industry has matured, so have we. We’ve grown from a regional powerhouse (the #1 Commercial Solar developer in New York State) to a leading national player with clients from New York to Texas and the Carolina’s to California.

Solar is no longer a “tomorrow” technology. It’s the energy choice of today. More and more corporations are choosing to go solar, not only because of what they "give back" environmentally but also for what they "get back" financially.

Attractive ROI

With rapid payback, strong internal rates of return and a predictable cash flow stream, commercial solar projects can deliver outstanding long-term investment returns for businesses. In many cases, a commercial solar project can generate incremental revenue, effectively creating a new profit center for the company.

Eliminate Energy Cost Volatility

Electricity prices are highly volatile and difficult to predict. In fact, historically, the cost of electricity has increased at compound annual growth rates in excess of 5%. By generating your own clean electricity onsite, you can eliminate your company's exposure to this price volatility and make energy a fixed cost.

Benefit from Government Incentives

Federal, state and even local governments frequently offer attractive rebates and incentives to encourage businesses to invest in solar. Effective utilization of available incentive programs can dramatically reduce the upfront cost of solar while providing a predictable long-term revenue stream.

Marketing and Public Relations Benefits

Solar positions your business as a forward-thinking, environmental leader, while aligning you closer to your local community. Your customers, employees, vendors, shareholders and neighbors can all share in the success of your corporate commitment to the environment.

As America's leading commercial solar developer, EnterSolar has conceptualized, built, and maintained solar projects across the country in partnership with a broad range of clients, from Big Box retailers to small business owners.

Bloomberg L.P. Pioneers Remote Net Metering

Bloomberg L.P. partnered with EnterSolar to develop the Bloomberg L.P. – JFK Airport Park Solar Project, which is a 1514.7 kilowatt (kW) roof-mounted commercial solar photovoltaic system in Queens, NY. The system utilizes Remote Net Metering (RNM) to allow two Bloomberg facilities in Manhattan, its Global Headquarters and a downtown data center, to receive credit for the solar energy. This multi-building system is the largest rooftop solar array in Queens, one of the largest installations in New York State, and is the first project to use Remote Net Metering to power a New York City skyscraper.
