Paul is the president and founder of EnterSolar. An early proponent of solar energy, Paul’s expertise has been relied upon by businesses large and small for best in class solar solutions that drive optimal ROI. His consultative relationships with business owners, operators and financial professionals has led to millions of dollars in annual energy savings, in addition to significant environmental benefits. Under Paul’s leadership, EnterSolar has grown to become a leader in the commercial solar development marketplace.
Paul is a trusted advisor to both state government and utilities as they develop and ratify new incentive programs. He has also played an active role in the development and policies of the Renewable Energy and Efficiency Business Association (REEBA) and the Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industry Association (MSEIA).
A leader with strong business acumen, Paul held senior executive positions for over 20 years at companies such as Omnicom, Interpublic and Gartner Group, where he managed existing companies/units, as well as created and launched new ventures.
Paul holds an MBA from New York University and a B.A. from Vassar College.
Peyton Boswell, Managing Director
Peyton Boswell, a Managing Director, partners with EnterSolar’s corporate clients to deploy solar photovoltaic solutions on a sustainable and economically-accretive basis. After spending nearly 10 years with EnterSolar and the previous 20 years in the investment banking and corporate financial advisory industry, Peyton enjoys providing clients with uniquely creative solar investment alternatives tailored to their specific objectives and constraints.
Peyton has worked with businesses of all sizes, from small privately-owned companies to large multinational corporations, to develop comprehensive solar deployment strategies across facilities and real estate portfolios throughout the U.S.
Before joining the EnterSolar team, Peyton led solar development activities for Fortistar, and was the founder of RenewCo V.I., a renewable energy development firm based in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Prior to entering the solar industry, Peyton was a finance and investment banking professional with J.P. Morgan and Bank of America, primarily focused on private equity transactions, M&A advisory services, and the coverage of corporate clients across a range of industry groups.
Peyton is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has a NABCEP Solar Technical Sales Certification.
Peyton earned a BA from Cornell University and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Steve Burns, Director of Project Management
Steve Burns is the Director of Project Management at EnterSolar. Having started at the company in 2011, Steve has seven years of experience in commercial solar installations. Responsible for the entire project management team and function, Steve provides the leadership, coordination and management needed to ensure that all projects are sufficiently supported and are successfully achieved.
Steve has extensive knowledge of all the facets of solar projects from the economic evaluation to the technical installation. He works hand in hand with clients, installation crews, equipment vendors, and local authorities on a daily basis. Understanding the importance of our clients’ business and operations is the key to successful solar integration and Steve utilizes clear communication and provides the proper resources to ensure projects are successful.
Steve has personally managed over 30MW of commercial solar projects across 40+ sites. He has worked with clients including: Target Corporation, Swiss Re, Bloomberg, Cornell Tech, BJ’s, and Clare Rose.
Steve is a NABCEP Certified PV Installer who is OSHA Certified and has received certifications in Arc Flash Safety and Aerial Platform Operation. He also works very closely with fire departments to provide on-site safety training and solar education.
Steve holds a B.S. Degree from St. Johns University.
Jason Case, Director, MaxSolar
Lucie Dupas, Director of Engineering
Lucie Dupas is the Director of Engineering for EnterSolar. Strong with 7 years of experience as an engineer in the solar industry, she manages a team of 8 project engineers and designers.
She is passionate about sustainability and believes that it is everyone's job to participate in the global effort to preserve our planet (her most accurate nickname is the "Recycling Bulldog"). Aside from her role at EnterSolar, she is also the Vice President of the Board of GreenHomeNYC, a volunteer-run nonprofit that provides sustainability education and networking events for young professionals in NYC.
Lucie led several of EnterSolar's most complex projects - including non-export solar ground-mounted systems on landfills at a large chemical plant in Springfield MA, and the first ground-mounted system in New York City.
She supports every team member on the Engineering team, helps them through challenging projects and trains junior members of the team, so that every project can benefit from EnterSolar's 10 years of experience building solar systems. Her background allows her to successfully lead a wide variety of projects, not limited to technical challenges. Her focus on optimizing internal processes has allowed many teams to grow smoothly with the company.
Additionally, Lucie has extensive experience making solar projects happen in the challenging NYC regulatory environment. She is our in-house ConEdison expert and has been very involved in code changes to facilitate the installation of solar in NYC.
Prior to joining EnterSolar, Lucie started her career in solar working with Sollega, a solar racking company, as a VP of product, and then as a Senior Engineer at Bright Power, a NYC-based energy management company. She graduated from INSA Lyon with a Masters Degree in Energy Engineering. She is a NABCEP PV Installation Professional since 2015.
Edgar Lim, Director of Procurement
Edgar Lim is the Director of Procurement at EnterSolar who leads the team on all technical aspects of a project’s lifecycle. After spending nearly a decade working in the industry, Edgar specializes in solar design optimization, best practices, energy simulation, safety programs, procurement strategies, and technology evaluation. He also manages all procurement efforts for the organization and nurtures key vendor partnerships.
Edgar started in the industry by working with a startup residential solar company out in Los Angeles where he learned the art of solar design and engineering. He eventually went on to lead their Engineering Department and played a role in quadrupling their installs per month within a year. Edgar then went on to be part of a large-scale solar development firm based in New Jersey where he worked on multi-megawatt solar projects and gained tremendous experience in all aspects of solar design and engineering. This included engineering of ground-mounted, roof-mounted and parking lot canopy systems. He proceeded to lead the firm’s Operations and Maintenance team to ensure proper preventative maintenance and maximum uptime of their solar portfolio.
Edgar is a North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Installation Professional and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the highly-ranked Georgia Institute of Technology George W. Woodruff School where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
When not in his office, you can find Edgar either playing basketball or reading a book. Him and his wife both enjoy culinary adventures and spend most of their weekends trying new establishments to add to their personal culinary photoblog.
Joe Stofega, Director of Business Development
Joe is a Director of Business Development at EnterSolar and has years of experience in sales and business development within the solar industry, as well as a strong financial background built by previous experience as a financial analyst at IBM. He specializes in project origination, site assessment, incentive and financial analysis, and proposal delivery, and has executed projects with a variety of financing options. Joe received his NABCEP Technical Sales Certification and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Scranton.
