Dykes Lumber Builds on Its Success with Solar, Completing Fourth Solar System with EnterSolar

EnterSolar Completes its Brooklyn, NY Rooftop Installation

New York, NY  (October 26, 2017) EnterSolar, a leading New York-based provider of solar solutions to commercial enterprises, today announced the completion of a 234 kilowatt rooftop solar system for Dykes Lumber’s Brooklyn, New York warehouse and retail location.  The system, located at the retailer’s facility between Park Slope and Carroll Gardens and adjacent to the Gowanus Canal, is the fourth rooftop solar project that the company has developed with EnterSolar.

The first two solar partnerships between Dykes and EnterSolar were located at the company’s Aberdeen and Weehawken, New Jersey locations respectively.  The third installation was the construction of a rooftop installation on the retailer’s Long Island City warehouse that provides enough power to credit both that location and its Manhattan retail location. That ground breaking project, completed in 2013, was the first remote net metered solar project in the Con Edison system.
